East meets West (KSA meets USA) North meets South (Cebu meets Iligan). A love story that traveled distance over land, water and air.
No one can deny that no matter where you are or how far you can be, love does move in mysterious ways and this truly defines the love between Ashley and Ethyl.
And in front of their family, friends and guests, they shared a vow that would surpass anything and definitely more than distance. A vow that will bind an unapparent but real love. And so last August 3, 2013, Ethyl clad in a Vera Wang creation, walked down the aisle of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish in Mactan Airbase, Lapulapu City Cebu promised to her man, Ashley to love and to cherish through thick and thin, through good times and bad times and true enough, after the ceremony due to the testing weather, their love outshone proving that rain or shine their love will see them through.
And as the night goes on, despite the heavy rain and the strong wind washing the flowers, trinkets and all that was set-up at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa where the reception program was held, the celebration continued with all of their friends and family dancing barefoot and wet from the rain. To end it all, a fireworks display brightened the (finally!) cleared up sky along with the stars wishing both Ashley and Ethyl all the best for their journey together.
