A love that has transcended time, continents and oceans is what perfectly describes the love of Darek and Praissie. It was a match made possible through their profession and passion — seafaring.
After being together for more than two years, the date was set for the couple to finally seal their love for each other, witnessed by both their families, friends and colleagues last January 12, 2014, they exchanged their “I DO’s” in a Nautical-Theme inspired wedding at the Sinulog Ballroom of City Sports Club Cebu.
It was dream wedding made come true with the artistic prowess of Ms. Debbie Huang, who transformed the ballroom to its theme, the beautiful entourage all clad in sailor-inspired dresses and suits and of course the lovely couple – Darek, in his White Dock Suit and Praissie clad in a Ruffy Itaas creation with its anchor accent beadwork at the back to step up to the theme. But most importantly, the wedding was remarkably filled with love and joy not only visible in the eyes of the couple but to all who witnessed and shared the happiness of the new Mr & Mrs Captain.
